The International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) is a postdoctoral research centre based in Leiden and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Its objective is to encourage the interdisciplinary and comparative study of Asia and promote national and international cooperation. The institute focuses on the human and social sciences and on their interaction with other sciences. IIAS acts as an international mediator, bringing various parties together.

One way in which it accomplishes this is through the distribution of its publication the Newsletter. The Newsletter is a free publication; it is distributed (three or) four times a year in hardcopy (in newspaper tabloid format), as a digital version (email subscriptions) and can also be accessed through our website.

IIAS is also interested in advertisement exchanges in relevant publications – one of yours for one of ours! 

For paid ads, the costs are:

Full page 281 x 369 mm € 900 per issue
1/2 page 281 x 179 mm € 500 per issue
1/4 page 138 x 179 mm € 300 per issue
1/4 page 281 x 86 mm € 300 per issue
1/8 page 138 x 86 mm € 175 per issue

Above amounts are for black and white advertisements. Please calculate an additional 10% for colour advertisements.

Discounts are available for multi-issue requests:

Eight consecutive identical advertisements: 20%
Eight consecutive variable advertisements: 15%
Four consecutive identical advertisements: 15%
Four consecutive variable advertisements: 10%

Deadline for submission for the Newsletter #60 (publication June 2012) is 25 April 2012.
Deadline for submission for the Newsletter #61 (publication September 2012) is 25 July 2012.
Deadline for submission for the Newsletter #62 (publication December 2012) is 25 Ocotober 2012.
