The Museum was recently given seven important Vietnamese cera- mics dating from the ninth to the fifteenth century. They will be on permanent exhibition from May, 1996, with some bronzes and ceramics dating from the Dongson period and the Ly Dynasty, which are already part of the collection of the museum. The museum hopes to complete this small but interesting collection with Ciao Chi Period ceramics and 'bleu de Hué' porcelain.
