In the unique series of facsimile editions of Indonesian
manuscripts, two new volumes (3 & 4) have appeared while volume
5 will be published in the near future.

VOLUME 1: 
Hikayat Isma Yatim by Ismail and Hikayat Sultan Mogul mengajarkan
anaknya. A facsimile edition of manuscript Cod.Or. 1693 in the
Library of Leiden University. Dfl. 65,-

VOLUME 2: 
Mukhtasar Tawþrþkh Al-Wustþ, a short chronicle of the Riau
region. A facsimile edition of manuscript Cod.Or. 1999 in the
Library of Leiden University. Dfl. 35,-

VOLUME 3: 
Serat Lokapali Kawi. An eighteenth-century manuscript of the Old
Javanese Arjunawijaja by Mpu Tantular. A facsimile edition of
manuscript Cod.Or. 2048 in the Library of Leiden University.
It contains an Old Javanese text on paper. Old Javanese texts
have usually been handed down to us via copies made in Bali,
written on leaves of the lontar palm. This paper manuscript from
Java is unique as it has been handed down in Java itself. The
facsimile is introduced by Bernard Arps and Willem van der Molen.

VOLUME 4: 
Gita Yuddha Mengwi or Kidung NdŠrŠt. A facsimile edition of
manuscript Cod.Or. 23.059 in the Library of Leiden University.
This contains the nineteenth-century poem "The Song of the Battle
of Mengwi" from Bali in Balinese. Dfl. 30,-

VOLUME 5: 
(to be published soon): Mystical illustrations from the teachings
of Syaikh Ahmad al-Qusyasyi. A facsimile edition of manuscript
Cod.Or. 2222 in the Library of Leiden University. With an
introduction by Aad Janson, Roger Tol, and Jan Just Witkam. Ca.
45 pp. Leiden 1995. Published as a black and white facsimile on
paper together with CD-ROM in one cassette. Suitable for both
MS-DOS and Apple MacIntosh computers. Dfl. 50,-

The series is a joint publication by the Indonesian Linguistics
Development Project (ILDEP) in co-operation with Legatum
Warnerianum in the Library of Leiden University. The series
editors are Roger Tol, Jan Just Witkam, and Wim Stokhof.
