Leiden has several hotels, but there is a slight shortage of rooms. The earlier you book, the higher the chances that you get a decent room for a fair price. We recommend staying in the vicinity of the city centre. However, in case you cannot find a hotel room, you might consider staying in The Hague (10 minutes by train), or in Amsterdam or Rotterdam (both 30 minutes by train).
